Cotswold Village House
Design and Build
Design and Build
We purchased this plot of land at the edge of a Cotswold village. We replaced the existing bungalow with a 4,000 square foot family home with beautiful views of the landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside. The house was built with the local stone from the Great Tew quarry and incorporated stone mullion windows and other traditional features. This gave it the appearance of having always been there rather than it being a new build house. We finished this home to our own design and sold the property privately.
Interiors
Although this was a new build, the architectural design of the interiors gives the impression that the house is old. We achieved this by using ancient beams, reclaimed timber and newly designed archways and fireplaces made from the local Great Tew stone. The photos show the house dressed for sale and showcase Francesca’s own interior design style. Wood and stone are predominantly used and the colours are chosen to bring the outside into the house.
Each project is unique and reflects the quality of their workmanship and achieves the desired result of creating the perfect home.
